Project Manager

Mg Plus Sdn Bhd is a one-stop interior fit-out, project management and construction company with expertise in corporate offices, developer projects, hospitality, retail, malls, residences, and large-scale building. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead project planning sessions tailored to various sectors, from corporate offices to high-end hospitality projects.
  2. Coordinate internal resources and teams to streamline project workflows, ensuring effective collaboration across design and build phases.
  3. Monitor and manage project progress, adjusting strategies to meet evolving client needs and unforeseen challenges.
  4. Ensure all project deadlines are met, delivering timely results that align with client expectations and company standards.
  5. Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, serving as the main point of contact throughout project lifecycles.
  6. Oversee and approve contracts, ensuring they reflect project scope, deliverables, and budgetary constraints.
  7. Manage all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Participate in the tender process, including design, submission, and evaluation, to secure competitive opportunities.
  9. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans, proactively addressing potential project challenges.
  10. Conduct comprehensive project reviews and generate detailed reports for executive leadership.
  11. Continuously optimize processes, enhancing efficiency and elevating project outcomes where necessary.
  12. Identify and pursue growth opportunities, leading the initiation and development of new projects.
  13. Oversee large, diverse project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity across all levels.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in project management, construction, interior design, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in design and build or interior construction projects.
  3. Proficiency in English, with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations and maintain composure under pressure.
  5. Strong multi-tasking abilities and experience handling various project elements simultaneously.
  6. Proven leadership skills with a vision for big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  8. Proficiency in project management software and tools relevant to the design and construction industry.
